"I can not get over the difference in my dogs appearance, health, and behavior since switching to the Wilderness diet. I had previously fed Pedigree to my American Eskimo. Slush had various health issues, and since switching the food he is a new dog. I can't get over how much better he looks. His coat is amazing. All of his stomach problems are gone. He is usually a very picky eater, but now LOVES his food. I can't keep the cats out of his bowl, so I will be switching their food to Wilderness for cats. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for a very great product. Well done!"

"We were giving Peanutt (Silky Terrier - 23 months) all the wrong foods as a pup. We have tried several different brands and he was on a brand available only through the vet -- sensitive tummy. We have tried several different flavors of the Blue, and he really LOVES the venison. It is refreshing to know that he is getting everything he needs in one product."

"I'm from Billings, MT and I've got to tell you that finding quality dog and cat food is a bit of a challenge. So when I came across Blue at Petsmart after reading almost every label in the store, I was very excited! We are now officially a Blue family! :) I have two cats that have both suffered from excessive hairballs and dandruff, but now that I've got them switched over the dandruff is gone and the puking has been drastically reduced!! My 14 year old Pekingese, Sandy, and my 1 1/2 year old Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix, Annie, both really enjoy Blue's senior chicken and rice, and fish and sweet potato (respectively). And both of them have amazing shiny and soft coats, I'm forever being complemented on how well they look. Thank you for such a great product!"

"I just want to say that I love all of your products! I just started working for Blue as a food rep. And I am also a Vet Tech and have been for almost 10 years. I switched all my pets over... (we have 4 rescued dogs and 4 rescued cats :) And I must say that I already see a difference in only a few weeks. I know how horrible the commercial foods are, and Blue is amazing! The dogs and cats love it! Their coats look so much more shiny... They love the treats as well. Just want to thank you again! I am proud to work for such a great company. And the PCA site is awesome! I lost a dog to cancer a few years ago... It really means a lot to owners! Keep up the great work!"

"Imagine our surprise when my husband and I were looking for a low fat dog food for our Irish Terrier who now has too much blood fats even for teeth cleaning when we met a representative of your company, Sherrie, in the aisle at our Muncie, Indiana PetSmart. She not only helped us compare label ingredients but we were delighted with the lower fat content of your product VS the Iams weight control food our vet had suggested we try for a few weeks which was only 2% less than the food we'd been using. Sherrie also told us about your company, the lack of corn in the dog food and additives contributing to allergies in dogs and other vital information. I see on the site you call it: Pet Food Label 101! We promptly bought a large 30 pound yellow bag of your Weight Control food. We have great hopes that our Irish Terrier will find the benefits of using your food and soon be able to have his teeth cleaned. Perhaps the lack of corn and other allergic ingredients may also help our Bull Terrier with her paw gnawing and itching problem. The enthusiasm and concern of this "Blue Lady" and the personal touch of having someone to talk to was most appreciated! We feel we are doing our best for our dogs and know more than when we walked into the store to buy more Iams."

"Two years ago, a male German Shepherd Dog was given to me. He was very underweight, had sarcoptic mange, had been mistreated, and was really in bad shape. The fur was rubbed off his legs where they bend. This was from being left in a crate or something else where he could not get up and move. His tail looked like a rat's tail without fur. He had hot spots. There was hardly any fur on his back end. I don't even remember all the things the vet said were wrong with him. He was just a "mess." The vet gave him a "poison dip." He said this was very hard on a dog, but he wasn't sure what else to do for him. This did help some, but I was not sure what to feed him as the vet thought he had allergies and possibly was allergic to his bedding, possibly some of the main ingredients in dog food, and maybe to fleas. I had talked with a man at our local pet store who worked for Blue Buffalo. He told me how good the food was and how good it was for dogs, and that I should try it for my dog. So, I started feeding him Blue Buffalo and he absolutely blossomed! I can't say enough about the food. He is now a healthy, happy dog, and weight about 115 lbs!! His coat is gorgeous and he is gorgeous. No more hot spots or loss of fur. Well, you know what they say about a "free dog." Our vet bills were out of sight. We fenced our acre yard for our dog (we acquired another German Shepherd Dog for my husband). We built a kennel for them both. But, it has been worth every penny. I can't tell you how thankful I am for the man who told me about Blue Buffalo dog food. It made such a difference in my dog's life. I tell everyone how good it is. Thank you so much."

"I have 10 cats varying in age from 6 months to 18 years. I fed them Science Diet and Iams, both good quality foods, but both contain a lot of corn. The 13 year old cat, Nik, had been diabetic for 2 years and the 12 year old, Boomer, has been diabetic for about 5 years. Because of potential allergy issues with one of the younger cats, I was insistent on finding a food that had NO corn products and I started to actually look closely at the ingredients. I was horrified at how many of the popular brands have corn as the #1 ingredient or if not number 1, often #2, 3, and 4. I was thrilled to find Blue Buffalo products that had meat as the first 2-3 ingredients and no mention of corn. I have fed the cats BLUE Spa Select and BLUE Wilderness for 8 or 9 months now. I think they look healthier and the heavier cats are losing some of that excess poundage caused by the old 'high starch/sugar' diet."

"I'm so grateful for BLUE Spa Select! I adopted a cat from a pet shelter that shouldn't be in business. First they told me the cat was a girl and he is not! Then they told me to feed him dry cat food because it would help his teeth. Months later I discovered the poor cat was infested with fleas plus had a food allergy that's why he was having trouble eating. His poor little mouth was a deep dark red/brown. The vet put him on meds and gave me some food to see if it would help his allergies. My cat would not eat the food and he lost so much weight! His fur was dull and spiky. He was in such bad shape to begin with and continued to go down hill. He is very very picky about food, and the food he did like was not helping his food allergy. I went to PetSmart and told one of the sales reps my story and he suggested BLUE Spa Select. He told me it was delicious as if he had eaten it himself! He felt so strongly about the product because his own cat loved it. I bought it and my cat loved it! The true reward is, his little mouth is a nice pink color, and his coat is a beautiful and shiny. BLUE Spa Select... I'm so glad I found you!"

"I began feeding my two cats the indoor formula a few months ago. Within two week, both of their coats seemed so much softer and shinier. I thought maybe it was just me being hopeful until yesterday when someone who hadn't seen the cats in quite some time made a comment on how good both their coats looked. They also seem healthier. They don't throw up their food like they used to. The orange tabby has had urinary health problems and tends to be overweight no matter what I do. I think the food has really contributed positively towards his health and a tendency towards a more healthy weight. He's also so much more active, chasing his little brother Fergi all over the house. Thank you for making such a good product."

"My wife and I got a 4 month old German Shepherd and she was a hand full. She was always jumping on us and biting playing we were worried. I looked into better foods online and was shocked at how many pointed to BLUE. We went into PetSmart and was happy there was a BLUE employee there to help, I had all kinds of questions and he answered all. We got the puppy food and took it home and wanted to see if she would like it so we put some in her bowl and was amazed at how fast she took to it. We were so happy we went right back and got cat food and dog shampoo. We are sold on BLUE and will only buy it for all our pets from now on..
P.s she has calmed down a lot and loves to be pet and just loved now "

"I visited the PetSmart in Lexington, SC, and spoke with one of your representatives, John. I cannot tell you just how much help he was to me! I had selected my puppy food and was looking rather confused (because I was planning on changing the food as it did not seem that my dogs liked what I was feeding them). I believe he saw my confusion and offered his assistance. I just forgot about the dog food and asked him to help me find my cat food. As we were going to get my cat food, I told him I was thinking of changing my cat food (as well). He then asked if I had thought about trying BLUE. I had never even heard of this type of dog food. My first response was "Well, it depends on what is in it." (I do read labels) He said "You're gonna' love this!" He first pulled my chosen brand of dog food and read it – "chicken or poultry by-products" was part of the very first ingredient (I was feeding my pets this food based on what my vet had suggested and not on the ingredients). He asked if I knew what that (chicken or poultry by-products) was. Sadly, I did. He then pulled a BLUE bag of food and as he was reading off the ingredients I noticed that the ingredients were things "I" would/could eat. Wow! I was impressed! And, more importantly, I knew what about 99% of the ingredients were. That alone was amazing. I was even more impressed with the fact that the vitamins were added back in "after" cooking. We then looked into the ingredients in the dog food I had already selected – that too started out with "chicken or poultry by-products" – YUCK! He also showed me that the amount necessary for proper feeding was greatly reduced in comparison with what I was currently feeding my pets. I decided I would try the smallest bag of each (in case my pets did not like it). Although I really did not want to buy the smallest bag (because I would have to come back the following week), when he told me it was 100% guaranteed and that I could bring it back for a refund if my pets did not like it, that cinched it! I could NOT believe it. I am not a gullible person, but I did buy the largest bags offered for my cats (2 adults) and my dogs (3 puppies). I was in a win/win situation. I would say you're not going to believe this, but you already knew what would happen when I got home – ALL my pets LOVED the new food. They ate it more eagerly than they did their other food, however, ate far less than they normally did, but seemed full and happy! I have a 10 year old son, who has, among other things, a growth development problem and many, many gastro problems, all of which have been either misdiagnosed or not diagnosed at all, so I can more than appreciate the ingredients that are NOT contained in your food, gluten being the main one. Most people do not realize just how much trouble food allergies cause. I am glad you took this into consideration before placing your food on the market for people to feed to their pets. I cannot wait to see how else my pets will benefit from your food. It has been less than 24 hours since I purchased your food and I am happier than I have ever been with my decision regarding pet food. My congratulations to you for working so hard to help prevent problems in pets BEFORE they start AND for having people such as John in helping others to make the right decision for their pets. By the way, I did not even realize he had on a BLUE smock until he took me to the treats (the end of our conversation). He was great help and certainly an asset to your company, and, I might add, very knowledgeable about the product he is selling for your company. Also, he did not have to degrade me (for what I had been feeding my pets) and, he did not have to degrade other companies for what they had in their food (he just simply showed me their list of ingredients – they did it themselves). Again, John is certainly an asset to your company and your food is certainly an asset to my pets. Thanks again. Please feel free to use my comments, in part or in whole, provided the general meaning of my letter is maintained."
