Blue Buffalo and The Riedel & Cody Fund Partner to Present the 12 Million Dog March
12 million dogs and cats are diagnosed with cancer each year. We think that’s 12 million too many.
Our fight against pet cancer continues as we proudly present the 12 Million Dog March in partnership with the Riedel & Cody Fund and sponsored by our long term partner Petco in Los Angeles.
The 12 Million Dog March starts in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 5th from 11am to 3pm and we encourage anyone in the area to attend. The pet-friendly festivities include live music, a photo booth for people and their pets, games for kids and dogs alike, giveaways, information from veterinary oncologists, a live performance by Robin Zander of Cheap Trick and much more. Additional dates for marches taking place in Atlanta and Chicago will be announced soon.
Not in the LA Area?
For those unable to attend the event itself, you can sign up for the virtual march at 12MillionDogMarch.com. There you can learn more about the event and how you can help in the fight against this terrible disease. And just for signing up, BLUE will happily make a $1 donation in your pet’s honor. It’s a fantastic way to help the pets that make our lives better and we encourage everyone to show their support.
About the Riedel & Cody Fund
Of the over $1.5 million in donations we collected in May, a portion of the funds are being allocated to the Riedel & Cody Fund, a non-profit organization that provides financial support and resources for families affected by pet cancer. This incredible organization donates much-needed financial support for families who may not have the financial means to get their pets the treatment they need. It’s just one of the many ways your donations are making a difference.
