Your kitten is unique in many ways. The recommendations above are an ideal guide for most kittens. Your kitten’s needs may be different based on age, activity level and breed. Please observe your pet’s needs to adjust appropriately, and consult your veterinarian if you have questions.

Transition to BLUE

Transitioning from a Lower-Protein Diet: We recommend mixing 10% of Carnivora into your pet’s current food to begin, and gradually increasing the amount over three weeks.

Transitioning from a High-Protein Diet: Start your pet off with 25% Carnivora and gradually add more over a two-week period.

Meal Frequency

In their first year, kittens require two to three times more food than adult cats. At three or four weeks of age, kittens can eat moistened food, three to four times per day. After that, continue to feed dry food three to four times daily or make it available continuously throughout the day.

Fresh Water

Be sure to have a clean bowl of cool, fresh water available at all times.
