How to Keep Dogs Cool in the Summer

Spring and summer are filled with fresh fruit and hot weather! Just like you, your pup might need a treat to cool down. They’re sure to enjoy some fruit, so these frozen blueberry and banana treats are the perfect way to keep your dog happy in one bite, using staple household ingredients.

Just blend together the fruit and yogurt to make the base of the treats. Then find fun silicone molds, like paw prints or bones, and pour the mixture into them before topping with crushed BLUE Health Bars Baked with Apples & Yogurt. Once the molds are full, simply toss in the freezer for at least a few hours, until the treats are frozen solid.

Once the treats are frozen, pop them out of their molds and give them to your dog to enjoy! Extras can be kept in the freezer in a freezer-safe plastic bag for the hottest days of the season.
