The scoop on making dog-friendly “ice cream” treats
This recipe uses plain yogurt — a natural probiotic — and fresh fruit (instead of refined sugar) to keep it healthy. You’ll want to use natural peanut butter that doesn’t contain the artificial sweetener xylitol, which can harm our furry family members. We’ll wrap up this recipe by sprinkling in crumbled BLUE Red, White & Blue Bars for a satisfying crunch.
Note: This recipe is not recommended for dogs who are lactose-intolerant or have sensitivities to any of the ingredients listed, like peanut butter or fruit. Please contact your veterinarian with any concerns and to make sure these ingredients are right for your dog.
