    Hates the turkey and potato

    a month ago
    Tried switching my 18 year old cat to this food snd he won’t touch it. Any suggestions . He usually loves cat food with chicken or Turkey so I thought this would be a great food. Not if he won’t touch it. He is picky. I’m sure it’s a great product just not for him.

Naturally, diets vary by species and although this may have been an error in the product described, know we have a satisfaction guarantee so if, for any reason, your pet doesn't enjoy our food, you can return the unused portion to the retailer where you purchased (with a receipt) for exchange/refund as long as you are within the retailer's return window.

    Very Pleased with Blue Basics!

    My dog loves the taste of Blue Basics Turkey and Potato dry food. It’s also the only dry food he can tolerate. He suffers from food sensitivities so I’m glad that this food doesn’t contain chicken, wheat, corn or soy. We are both very pleased!

    What happened?

    This is the sixth time I have purchased this product for my golden retriever. However, this bag looked very different from the previous bags as it seemed that the primary ingredient was the small black peas. Maybe something got messed up at the packing plant and the ratio got messed up, but I’m returning the product as I don’t think it’s healthy and the primary ingredients are supposed to be turkey and potatoes peas are the fourth ingredient.

    Recipe Change Causing Too Much Waste

    My shih tzu used to like this food but he has never been much of a fan of the so-called "life bits." That has never been a problem until I bought the latest bag a few weeks ago. The life bit ratio is ridiculous and though he'll eat some of it, the amount of food I'm throwing away is concerning. I hit my limit yesterday when I pulled TWO scoops that were pretty much nothing but life bits. I hope this is a fluke rather than a recipe change because I'm going to have to find a new food if this is the new normal.

    Great food wonderful ingredients.

    I bought this food a month ago. My dog was having problems with the food that he was eating, kept giving him diarrhea so I was told to put them on a turkey so I found this food and it has done for his stomach. He likes it. he has not had diarrhea in about a month now, his stools look wonderful. I will continue to use this food because it has everything that he needs and I’ve never seen him more happier with no discomfort.

    I switched my dog from Blue Buffalo Wilderness to the Blue Buffalo Basics line and she is no longer showing signs of allergies! No more scratching or biting at her paws since switching.

    I bought this particular brand/product that helps to form a firmer, feces. and it has worked well for my 7 year old female mix breed .

    We love this food!!!!

    My Luka has a chicken allergy and a hatd time digesting too much protein as a young puppy age. At 10 months we moved him to the adult version and he's good to go. This stopped me from spend over $100 for a 25lb bag of prescription dog food. We love this food and if I ever get anoth dog, well be using blue buffalo. I just wish you made this food in 30 or 40lb bags.
