Contains Gluten

While this food is wheat free it is not Gluten Free because it includes Barley. While my dog isn't gluten intolerant my wife and daughter are and this food caused a cross contamination issue in our house. So close to being amazing but this is a deal breaker for me.

Finally some GI relief!
I have a chihuahua who had extreme digestive issues. This is the third veterinary diet we have been on for her. Honestly, I wish it would have been the first! Not only has it helped my girl so much, she loves it, and it’s much more affordable than those other prescription diets. Thank you Blue Buffalo!

My dog has pancreatitis and this dog food has made a world of difference. So thankful for this product and that my dog loves it, both the canned and dry version.

Maltipoo hates both wet and dry
I've had 2 bad experiences with this food. My Maltipoo had pancreatitis and the vet has been pushing this food onto me to give him. First time he seemed to not mind but not love the wet food, so I tried the dry bits and his little teeth had a hard time with the kibble and he spit out the life source bits. So I went back to the wet food, by then he decided he hated this food altogether and literally would rather starve than eat the food. I even put broth and chicken in it and he turned his nose up at it. Thankfully the vet will take this back and get him on a different food. I do not recommend this food for a finicky eater.

She loves it!
My vet recommended this when I asked about a low-fat food for my Miniature Schnauzer. She loves it! I suspect her name should have been Hoover! She's not been eating it long enough for me to see a change in her coat, but she seems to scratch less already. Schnauzers are prone to pancreatitis -- and low-fat helps avoid that. Hoping to keep my baby happy and healthy for a long time.

Helped dog's allergies.
This bag of dog food (dry-natural GI) for small animals was given to me when I first got my 6 1/2lb Daschund. My baby scratched constantly and her little belly was almost raw. I started her on this and now her belly is soft and smooth. She rarely scratches. Added and unexpected benefits were that all her coat got so smooth and sleek, she doesn't run around like she's hungry all the time and best of all she's maintaining her weight like her doctor wants her to.
