There are few moments quite as exciting as the day you bring home your new puppy! The days ahead will be full of laughs, cuddles, “awwws,” sloppy kisses, and questions as you get used to living with and caring for your pal. 

First, make sure you have the essentials: A scheduled visit to the veterinarian, nutritious puppy food, a food and water bowl, toys and activities, a leash and harness, and a cozy place for your pal to sleep. It’s also a good idea to do some research on your pal’s breed, and potty-training tips.
